U.S. Army Corp of Engineers - Ozark Dam Powerhouse

For the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, we provided surface preparation and coating of transformers and radiators, substation structures and the perimeter iron fence, many of which were coated with an existing lead-based paint.

We lead abated the surfaces using HEPA vacuum-attached power tools, chemical stripping and power wash with abrasive injection to remove only loosely adhered paint. The coating systems included “flow” coating of radiators and a traditional epoxy-urethane system on other structures.
