Tennessee Valley Authority - Cumberland Power Plant Rubber Linings
For the Tennessee Valley Authority, we removed 120,000 square feet of rubber lining from six absorber vessels measuring 60 foot diameter by 160 foot tall.
Our crew of 15 skilled craftsmen used multiple 40,000 psi hydroblast rigs to complete the project in the required 10-day per vessel schedule, working two seven-day shifts.
In addition to removing the rubber lining, we lined the floors of each vessel with a plural component, Polibrid 705, and wallpapered the vessel walls with stainless steel.
